Seychelles in February
Hi everyone, welcome to Seychelles.
This is some short information of my Seychelles trip in February 2023.
I have visited the 4 amazing islands which were: Praslin, La Digue, Mahe and Silhouette.
A travel duration of 16 days in total, leaves the unforgettable memories forever.
I was very lucky with the weather as February is normally the Rain Season! but it was raining just the day I've arrived for about 20 mins after the that the sun was with me the whole time :) It was also cloudy sometimes but overall the weather was kind to me :)
I will be coming with more VDOs! please stay tuned and support :)

(6 Mar 2019) Brewing bad weather near the Seychelles has forced a unique marine scientific mission to change course.
The leaders of the Nekton Mission – British-led but with Seychellois scientists on board – decided on Wednesday to reverse their schedule for the voyage after reports showed building storm activity close to their first chosen location, the low-lying Farquhar Islands: part of the Seychelles vast ocean territory.
A strong swell and high winds make it impossible for the team to safely launch and recover the crewed submersibles that lie at the heart of the operation.
Difficulties accessing the internet to get forecasts increased frustrations.

"It's no good me sticking to a rigid plan if we have a storm coming through and we are going to sit around and do nothing for a few days," Nekton's principal scientist, Lucy Woodall, told The Associated Press.
Nekton scientists say one of the factors affecting the poor weather is the El Nino phenomenon, which is linked to climate change, one of the research factors of the mission.

(6 Mar 2019) Brewing bad weather near the Seychelles has forced a unique marine scientific mission to change course.
The leaders of the Nekton Mission – British-led but with Seychellois scientists on board – decided on Wednesday to reverse their schedule for the voyage after reports showed building storm activity close to their first chosen location, the low-lying Farquhar Islands: part of the Seychelles vast ocean territory.
A strong swell and high winds make it impossible for the team to safely launch and recover the crewed submersibles that lie at the heart of the operation.
Difficulties accessing the internet to get forecasts increased frustrations.
"It's no good me sticking to a rigid plan if we have a storm coming through and we are going to sit around and do nothing for a few days," Nekton's principal scientist, Lucy Woodall, told The Associated Press.
Nekton scientists say one of the factors affecting the poor weather is the El Nino phenomenon, which is linked to climate change, one of the research factors of the mission.
